Stanz- und Lasertechnik Jessen GmbH is a leading German manufacturer of electrical sheet components based on stamping and laser-cut technology. The company with its two production sites in Jessen, Saxony-Anhalt, supplies various end markets such as automotive suppliers, electric pump and engine producers as well as wind turbine manufacturers. Jessen supports its customers along the entire product development and production cycle starting with joint R&D activities, prototype development, pre-series component production mainly in the laser cutting division as well as serial production in the stamping division. Based on state-of-the-art production facilities the company is well known for its high-precision treatment of electrical sheets both for single sheet applications as well as complex stamping packages. Recently the service range was extended with plastic insulation of stamping packages. SSVP III acquired the company together with the incumbent management in October 2013 in the course of a management buyout. SSVP III sold Stanz- und Lasertechnik Jessen to Steadfast Capital in July 2016.
