Ludwig Pfeiffer
Ludwig Pfeiffer is a German civil engineering and infrastructure company specializing in comprehensive solutions for water supply and wastewater disposal, gas distribution, district heating, power and data cables, as well as plant engineering. The company is headquartered in Leipzig and serves municipalities and private infrastructure customers mainly in Central Germany. With a total workforce of around 600 employees, the group has established itself as a leading player in its markets and has gained a reputation for delivering quality and reliable services to its customers. In December 2021, Ludwig Pfeiffer’s parent company, Pfeiffer GmbH, filed for insolvency due to pandemic-related problems on numerous international construction sites. The group’s German subsidiaries were, however, not directly affected by the insolvency, remained profitable throughout, and were subsequently acquired by ESSVP IV in 2022.
